How to look after your fanny pack ?

Tips for cleaning corduroy : 

• Hand-cleaning recommended: Corduroy doesn't take well to machine washing. Instead, use a soft sponge or cloth slightly dampened with warm water and a little mild soap to clean surface stains. Rub gently along the edges of the velvet to avoid damaging it. 
• Avoid abrasive products: Don't use harsh detergents or hard brushes, as they could damage the velvet's delicate fibers. 
• Air-dry: Don't put your corduroy fanny pack in a tumble-dryer, preferring to let it air-dry flat to avoid deforming the material. 
• Gentle brushing to revive velvet: If velvet loses some of its texture or flattens, use a soft brush or clothes brush to restore its original appearance. Brush gently in the direction of the ribs.

• Easy cleaning with a cloth: Coated cotton is very easy to care for on a daily basis. In the event of stains, simply use a damp cloth or sponge with a little soapy water to remove them. The coated fabric allows liquids to slide off, preventing them from sticking. 
• Machine-washable: Coated cotton is hard-wearing, so we recommend machine-washing to remove stubborn stains. 
• Quick drying: After cleaning your coated cotton fanny pack, let it air dry. As the material doesn't retain moisture, it dries very quickly. 
• Avoid ironing: There's no need to iron your coated cotton bag, as the waterproof coating may melt on contact with heat. What's more, the material is virtually wrinkle-free. 

• Avoid overloading: Although fanny packs are designed to carry your small essentials, avoiding overloading helps preserve the bag's shape and seams. 
• Protect it from direct sunlight: Prolonged exposure to UV rays can fade colors, whether corduroy or coated cotton. Try to store it out of direct sunlight when not in use. 
• Store it properly: If you're not using your bag for a long time, stuff it lightly with tissue paper to keep its shape, and store it in a cloth bag to protect it from dust. 
• Waterproof uncoated fabric parts: If parts of your bag are made of uncoated fabric (such as inserts or linings), you can apply a suitable waterproofing spray to protect them from stains and moisture.
