Including our customers in our projects was an obvious choice for this Christmas project. We asked our customers about their Advent calendar shopping habits and their wishes for this future new product. After analyzing our customers' expectations, we came up with a prototype.
Prototyping the advent calendar
Each product is designed and imagined in advance at our premises in Saint-Philibert. For this new item, a prototype was needed to confirm the feasibility of the creation, as well as all the technical characteristics such as pocket sizes, folding, quantity of fabric required... This advent calendar has been designed using fabric scraps from our mask production, to limit our environmental impact.
Local manufacturing for a reusable product
Conceived and designed by our Creative team, this Advent calendar is a collaborative, local project. The fabrics were cut by the ICAM production school in Vannes, which trains and supports young people on the road to reintegration. The sewing of the pouches and their assembly were entrusted to the Breton sewing workshop Althaga, an intergenerational collective of women with a passion for sewing... Several employees then applied the sequins to the 24 calendar numbers. A real team effort!
A reusable product
This fabric Advent calendar is a decorative object in its own right, and will easily find its place among your Christmas decorations. Designed to be strong and durable (even if it doesn't like being washed), this calendar is also easy to store: simply roll it up. It'll be with you for years to come, and will help you pass on this wonderful Christmas tradition to your children and grandchildren.
Our exclusive, very limited-edition 2023 Advent calendars will amaze you! A totally new "surprise" Advent calendar, which we've filled with Papa Pique and Maman Coud accessories and partner brands, and an empty DIY Advent calendar that you can personalize and complete with the surprises of your choice.
